Ryan Lepianka from DCI Marketing had the following comment: "I learned about Several timesaving features in Max that I had no idea existed.  The program is so deep I will likely never understand all of it.  I could probably thatk months of classes like this and continue to learn more.  This is well worth the time out from a very busy workload.  I will recommend it for the rest of the people in out studio."

Carl Padilla also from DCI Marketing in Milwaukee said the following: " This Class Exceeded My Expectations in the First Half Hours.  Great Job Guys !"

Brennan Reddin - MATC - " This class has been quite a ride.  I have learned more information than I can retain.  I can't wait to come back especially for the pizza and space shuttle rides. " Thanks Murph & Ted

We also received the highest marks on our evaluation forms from Melissa Atchley - Mad Design USA - and Peter Rybicki - Solomon Cordwell Buenz -

Here is a very niceemail we just received regarding our latest Ted Boardman Max 6/7 VIZ 2005 ADVANCED Class:

Murph.

I wanted to email you and Ted today thanking you both for a great time as well as an educational one, so please accept my gratitude for both!

This is the 3rd class I have taken at the Virtual Partners facility, with Ted Boardman instructing, and it certainly will not be my last.  Each time I leave with additional knowledge, experience, capabilities, and enthusiasm that makes it feel like I purchased a completely new software package.   Ted’s expertise is only surpassed by his talents for teaching MAX, on any level appropriate for his audience.   Class members identify topics they would like to have addressed, which Ted weaves into the fabric of his class via real world examples, while demonstrating new techniques and “not to be missed” features of the latest release of MAX.  Jim’s facility is a wonderful example of an atmosphere set up to optimize this type of hands on class in a way that really makes you feel welcome and comfortable.  My only complaint is that the days just go by to quickly.

Jim Gempeler A.I.A. is a licensed practicing architect and co founded GMK Architecture inc. in 1984.  I have used 3d studio MAX/VIZ for my main design tool since the initial release.  My use of 3d design visualization was featured in the CADENCE magazine may 2000 issue.  Examples of our work and visualizations can be viewed on our web site:  www.gmkarch.com

Thanks again for a really great 3 days of MAX and your hospitality!

Jim

Also attending this Advanced Class:

Hi Jim,

I wanted to thank you and Ted Boardman for another excellent training session on 3D Studio Max.

Virtual  Partners Training Center and Ted Boardman continue to provide an atmosphere conducive to the studies of 3d Studio Max. I have a great deal of appreciation and respect for Jim and Ted's dedication to the 3d visualization community. As an illustrator, the quality of training I receive is invaluable. Ted's approach to teaching is as personable as it is technical. Whether eating breakfast at a local diner or exploring tutorial techniques.....the language spoken is Max. "Borrowing geometry and drinking coffee is a great way to spend a training session."

Here is a very niceemail we just received regarding our latest Ted Boardman Max 6 Class:

Murph,
Thanks for the note, all is going very well in fact I am finding new uses for 3ds 3ds Max/VIZ.. things have taken off recently with my adventure sports company, and I have now found out that I can load in terrain data and do "fly-throughs" which is great for TV graphics demos and run-throughs of the race courses. It isn't what I intially got it for, but if the tool fits, use it!

That last program on PBS that I E-mailed you about was an interesting step, it is leading to bigger things, and we may be internationally airing the event now. In fact we are in discussions with Discovery Channel, and a few other networks and I'm flying down to Belize in 3 weeks to try and negotiate having that country be the host of the 2005 event. Our staff has grown from five people to nearly 10 in the past couple weeks, and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight to the growth. Big stuff, I'm playing in leagues that I didn't think I was qualified to play in, but so far I'm holding my own and winning the battle.
Have a great new year and take care!
Mike  Mike Polzin is at MPolzine@sen.com Some more very nice emailregarding our Ted Boardman Max 6 Classes:

I spent a few more hours modeling some objects, and playing with some of the other modifiers, this is some great stuff. I walked away from the class with a good understanding of 3DS, and will be building on that knowledge on my own over the next few months. Again, thanks for delivering such a high quality class, I was very impressed.

Greetings,

Well, although I know the subject says it already, but THANKS! I had some real fears regarding the complexity of 3ds Max/VIZcoming into this class (it is also one of the reasons I delayed purchasing a seat) however I now feel 100% confident that I have purchased a great piece of software that will most certainly deliver the high end graphics I have been looking for. Due to the fact that my company is a realtively small organization we often have to wear many hats to get things done, so ease of use and smooth work flow is essential, and 3DS defintely delivers that.

I spent my entire day Sunday setting up another PC I had lying around to run 3ds Max/VIZ5, it is rather slow but jammed with a gig of memory it does run so that I can now work a bit with the software at my home office until I decide what to purchase as a production PC. I did quite a bit of research on Sunday on that as well, and have a few leads on PC's I think will be adequate, with out breaking the bank.

"Hi, it's Pete Anderson from your last Green Bay class. Just wanted to thank you for a great learning experience.I tried a couple of the polygon reducing concepts youtaught us. Man was I modeling the wrong way.  I cut asingle render time from 18min to 2min.  What ahelp for animations."
On his Evaluation form Pete also wrote: "Having used 3D Viz for about 4years I wasn't sure what to expect from this class.  Ted covered a widerange of material and I learned a lot.  Not only new techniques but alsolots of important time saving techniques."   Pete Anderson Inter Architect / 3D-Designer - Wahlgren-Schwenn Inc.

Brent Burkitt - SiemensDemetic - Grand Rapids, Mi. "When I was told about being signed up for thisclass I was a little worried because of not being on the software thatlong.  But now after taking the class I feel like I will be able to work inthe software with confidence and look forward to working with thesoftware."
Also attending from Siemens - CAD SUPERVISOR -  Don Steketee whom has constantlygiven us the highest praises and promotes our training at Siemens because of thegreat increases in productivity they have seen sending folks to classes here atVirtual Partners on a yearly basis.

John and Robert Cummins - HartHousing Group, Inc. Wakarusa IN. - We received the highest marks from both Johand Robert whom also commented " I've recently started working with Viz 4and don't have extensive experience in 3D modeling.  This course hasinstilled a LOT o Confidence in using many of the functions Needed to beProductive.  Bob Cummins

Jeff Head - KSU faculty-  Dir. Collage of Architecture, Planning & Design Kansas StateUniversity - "Ted is very knowledgeable...not only in 3D MAX but in a widercontext of fine arts concepts."  Jeff also volunteered to give us a perspectiveon the classes after working in the program several weeks upon his return toKSU.  We look forward to the follow up.
